God, it was just… it was a lot, especially coming from NWN. NWN was tiled based, this was terrain based, so you really needed some skill to make good looking areas. Gone were the days of NWN where anyone could just hop in and whip up a level in a few hours.
It took significantly more time to do damn near everything. There was much less focus on the toolset, and what was there was difficult to use for most people. As time went on, it was pretty clear that things were different. Not as big, but still big enough to make a splash. I sort of figured it would pick up where NWN/NWN2 left off. I really, really had high hopes for this toolset. However, he does describe some the process when talking about the whole series (basically what Proleric said at greater length):Īnyway… After much time away from Rose of Etrernity it was time to come back, this time, with the Dragon Age engine. It was a daily journal, anyway, so would be a lot of browsing. I sadly won’t be able to help you with issues or make any personal adjustments but if you want to change anything with the face replacer (that is NOT zevran’s skintone) feel free to do it!! I edited the Morrigan one to work better with the facial structure I gave her, with permission to upload it of course. I took it down because of Nexusmods’ rather unpleasant community but a lot of you guys keep asking about it!! so I figured I might reupload this (and pray that the weirdos from Nexus won’t find and repost this AGAIN).Ī HUGE shoutout to ellise on nexusmods because this heavily relies on her mod (linked below).
